Academia Medica Pragensis Foundation announces following Prizes for the year 2012:
- Cyril Höschl Prize, the aim of which is to contribute significantly to the international prestige of the Czech
psychiatric research. The Prize will be awarded to the first author of the original scientific paper published in full
in an ordinary issue (not supplement) of a scientific medical journal with the last published and certified impact
factor higher than 7. The work must origin from a Czech psychiatric institution which must be declared in the paper as a
main affiliation of the first author. The prize is associated with a reward of 100,000 CZK.
- Zdenek Klein Award , which is open to students and scientists up to 40 years of age, working in the Czech Republic.
The award will be given to the author (authors) of the best paper focused on the study of a human nonverbal behaviour or
on behavioural anthropology. The prize is associated with a reward of 20,000 CZK.
The applications with attached reprints of published papers and short CVs should be sent to Academia Medica Pragensis
Foundation, Řehořova 10, Praha 3, e-mail nadace@medical-academy.cz. Applications will
be assessed by the Jury consisting of the board members of the Foundation, who reserve the right not to award the prize.
